THE NSW Veteran Golfers Association Matchplay Championship has been an increasingly popular event in its current home in the Newcastle area over the past few years.

In 2016 it will be on a week earlier than usual – now Monday 24th October till Friday 28th October – but again it will  be a great week of friendly but competitive golf for men and lady over 55’s.

The cost is a very modest $120 that includes four rounds of matchplay golf and a presentation lunch on Friday.

Golf courses this year are Belmont, Waratah, Muree (Raymond Terrace) and Charlestown.

You can find more information and entry details at the NSWVGA website or by contacting tournament director John Mason at kiwee2(at)optusnet.com.au
