The 100th Australian Open will be staged at the Australian Golf Club in Sydney this November

THE 100th Australian Open tees off on Thursday in Sydney with live coverage on Channel 7 from noon.

Defending champion is Jordan Spieth, facing a top class field including Adam Scott, Lee Westwood, Darren Clarke and most of the top Aussies excluding Jason Day, who is at home in the US with his new baby.
