ENTRIES are still open for the 2015 NSW Veteran Golfers Association Matchplay Championships to be conducted in the Newcastle area early in November.

The championship is open for both men and ladies and will be played at Belmont, Waratah, Newcastle (Stockton) and Charlestown Golf Courses.

The week begins with a registration at Charlestown on Sunday November 1 and concludes with the final round and a presentation lunch on Friday November 6.

It’s always fun playing some matchplay instead of the routine strokeplay or stableford so this should be an enjoyable week for the over 55’s on some very good courses.

The competition fee is just $120 and entries close on Tuesday October 27.
