PETER FOWLER will defend his SA PGA Senior Championship title this week at one of the biggest events on the 2013 E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour.

Fowler, the 1983 Australian Open winner and European Senior Tour star, will spearhead a quality field at the Adelaide Shores Golf Club.

Fowler will face some stiff competition from the likes of Rodger Davis, 2012 rookie of the year Kym Olsen and fellow European Senior Tour winner Terry Price.

Davis has already won twice on the South Australian swing while Olsen is coming off a two shot win on the sand scrapes of Kadina Golf Club.

The 36 hole championship tees off on Thursday with the final round Friday. Entry to the course is free for spectators.
