Jimenez, Westwood and Willett take a Hickory golf club challenge: Video

IF the thought of the incomparable Miguel Angel Jimenez in plus fours playing with Hickory golf clubs excites you …. you’re probably in the wrong place. You should at least think about some counselling.

But that was the scene this week on the European Tour with the Spaniard joining reigning US Masters champ Danny Willett, Lee Westwood and others at the Hickory Challenge on the sidelines of the European Masters in Switzerland. 

Westwood ended up winning the 1930’s style contest, and at least we didn’t see Jimenez, now 52 and a regular at big senior tour events, doing his celebrated warm up routine.

On second thoughts, for those that missed the Jimenez warm-up video the first time, here’s a helpful reminder.
