FORTUNATELY for Australian golf fans the 2016 US Masters will be broadcast on free to air television as well as pay TV.
7Mate will host the free to air Masters coverage whilst Fox Sports begins 24 hours of coverage beginning Monday April 4.
There is also Masters internet streaming services available with the 7 network streaming the event through their online TV site, PLUS7 Live, and also the Fox Sports alternative for those who have the appropriate subscription.
Live competition coverage begins with the traditional US Masters Par 3 Tournament from 5am – 7am (AEDT) on Thursday.
The Masters Round one coverage proper starts Friday from 4.45am – 9.30am.
There is also additional pre and post round coverage each day with a Golf: US Masters on the Range broadcast beginning before each round (1am to 3am) and a Live from the Masters segment after the preliminary rounds for 2 hours each day.
With their special 24 hour channel Fox Sports will have enough additional Masters coverage and specials to make the eyes run.
