Scott leads Aussies at 2015 WGC-HSBC Champions in China

MOST of the world’s top golfers assemble in China this week for the WGC-HSBC Champions event at the Shehsan International Golf Club in Shanghai.

An in-form Adam Scott leads an Aussie contingent missing current world No.1 Jason Day but including Marc Leishman, Matt Jones, Steven Bowditch, Scott Hend, Nick Cullen, Andrew Dodt, Greg Chalmers and Steve Jeffress.

While Day is at home preparing for the birth of his second child, six of the world top ten are playing in a field that sees representatives from 22 countries.

This is the first World Golf Championships event of the 2015-16 season and headliners include Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson.
