PETER SENIOR put on a brave showing to finish tied for seventh in the Toshiba Classic, the final full field event on the US Champions Tour for 2015.

The 56 year old Aussie had rounds of 65-68-67 to end on 13-under, seven behind winner Duffy Waldorf, who won for the first time in his 73rd Champions Tour start.

Unfortunately, the result wasn’t enough to get Senior into the top 30 money winners list and into the limited field Charles Schwab Cup Championship this week in Arizona. Senior has had just four top ten finishes on the tour this year.

Still, it might see Senior arriving home in time to maybe play the Senior Australian PGA Championship at Richmond Golf Club in Western Sydney next week.

Senior finished 39th in the Charles Schwab standings, won by Colin Montgomerie with Jeff Maggert runner-up and Bernhard Langer third.
