2015 Volvo China Open Preview: Leaderboard

SCOTT HEND was the best performing Aussie on the European Tour last week and can be expected to challenge again when the Volvo China Open begins on Thursday at the Tomson Shanghai Pudong Golf Club in Shanghai.

The US$3.23 million event is jointly sanctioned by the European and OneAsia Tours and is played at this venue for the first time.

Hend finished 15th last week in Shenzhen, was runner-up in this event in 2007 and won the Hong Kong Open last year.

He will be joined by fellow countrymen Wade Ormsby, Marcus Fraser, Richard Green, Andrew Dodt, Nick Cullen, former winner Scott Strange, and others.

England’s Tommy Fleetwood is the highest world ranked player in the field while Frenchman Alex Levy is the defending champion.
