IT’S time for the ladies to shine on the Australian golfing scene over the next fortnight with the 2015 RACV Ladies Masters at the Royal Pines Resort beginning things this week.
Cheyenne Woods is the defending champion at the revamped Gold Coast course and will be challenged by a top field that includes 18 year old English hot shot Charley Hull, France’s Gwladys Nocera, South Africa’s Lee Anne Pace and a gaggle of Aussies, including eight time LPGA Tour winner Rachel Hetherington, back for just her second pro tournament since a long layoff.
Next week it is on to the LPGA co-sanctioned ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne Golf Club.
