2014 Ryder Cup: Australian TV Times; Live Scoring

Ryder Cup 595

AUSTRALIAN television coverage of the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland is actually at some very viewer friendly times for local golf fans this week.

That’s the good news for Australian golf followers with pay tv access, but the bad news – as usual – is that there will be no free to air television coverage of the Ryder Cup.

There will be extensive live coverage on Fox Sports beginning Friday at 4.30pm (yes, that really is in the afternoon AEST when it is still light outside and the birds are singing) and extends 11 ½ eye-watering hours till 4am. (Then you can have a quick nap and watch the replay starting 9am Saturday, before renewing the whole process live again at 4.30pm.)

Day 1: Fri Sept 26 – 4:30pm – 4:00am
Day 2: Sat Sept 27 – 4:30pm – 4:00am
Day 3: Sun Sept 26 – 8:30pm – 4:30am
