Simone Case from Sandhurst Club and Gary Hallam from Bargara Golf Club have won their respective Victorian Senior Amateur championships after three days of tight competition at Barwon Heads Golf Club and 13th Beach Golf Links.
Case won by just a single stroke from Kim Morris from Shepperton Golf Club while Hallam was two strokes ahead of joint runners-up Mark Pretty from Millicent Golf Club and Greg Wilson from Rosebud Country Club.
The Victorian Senior Amateur Championships were previously played as standalone events but were combined in 2015 with the Men’s & Women’s championships played at the same venue within the same week. The Championship is played over 54-holes of stroke play.
