The Fairways Golf Estate an affordable QLD option

The Fairways Golf Estate an affordable QLD option

Hatton Vale Golf ClubLOOKING for a new home in a Queensland golf development but baulking at some of the hefty price tags on display?

The very affordable Fairways Estate centred around Hatton Vale Golf Club could be an option worth considering.

QM Properties has announced the launch of the next stage of the increasingly popular “green-change” Fairways development that is just a 25 minute trip to Ipswich and within commuting distance to Brisbane.

The entry point for land is just $99,900, and in the new release there will be a large number of acreage blocks priced at less than $130 000.

“Clients find that they can secure a house and land package for less than $300 000 and that’s for a quality four bedroom, two bathrooms, double garage home,” Paul Daly, sales manager for the estate said.

“Fairways is a popular choice for retirees and people looking for semi- rural, manageable blocks that offer peace and quiet whilst still maintaining a bustling social hub, centred around the Hatton Vale Golf Club and Tavern”.

“The golf club is the central feature of the estate, with an easy to navigate flat golf course that still offers the keen golfer a challenging game with several water features”.

“The course and Fairways Estate is home to an abundance of wildlife including wallabies and Australian native birds and plants, providing a tranquil tree change, with increasing popularity for retirees looking to retreat to a relaxed and low maintenance lifestyle”.

The estate has also been popular with younger families and with so many new residents moving in, the Fairways has established a sense of community based around the golf club and course.

Keen golfers Paige and Nathan Faulks purchased recently and are looking forward to the Country Club lifestyle of the Fairways estate.

“We found the Fairways very appealing as it’s close to Ipswich but still has, a peaceful rural atmosphere”, said Paige. “It is also very affordable acreage with big growth potential.”

Julie Morgan loved the Fairways so much she bought the Hatton Vale Golf Club and now oversees the Fairways, the hub of the development.  “As the Fairways grows, the golf course has become a vital community centre,” said Julie.

The course has its own golf professional, runs five clinics for children, raises money for The Rural Fire Brigade as well as other local charities and serves 600 meals each week.

“There is also very little acreage left here as the area is now zoned for high density,” Paul said.  “Buyers who purchase at the Fairways now will realise high capital growth in the future”.

He said the golf estate offered an opportunity to purchase a block without paying the high costs associated with waterfront and coastal living.

The Fairways Golf Course Estate has lightly treed, undulating blocks that suit acreage and ranch style homes and its location allows buyers to work and spend time in the city but retreat back home to a calming and serene rural environment.
