As reported in the Australian Senior Golfer story Top 10 Golf Balls (http://australianseniorgolfer.com.au/258/top-10-golf-balls/), five out of the world's top 10 goflers (as at 1/3/2009) use Titleist golf balls. Two use Srixon models and the rest are a mish mash.
Only one, Crazy Phil Mickelson, uses Callaway. And I point that out in particular because I just like saying "Crazy Phil Mickelson".

So what is your favourite golf ball and why? Does it matter to you what kind of ball you play, or is it all dependent on price?

My favourite golf ball is the most recent, newest, cleanest ball I have just found on a golf course somewhere. It doesn't matter that much but I do prefer if it has something like Callaway, Titleist or Srixon written on the side.

What really shits me is looking for a lost ball in the rough, seeing another one, then you go to all the trouble (and sometimes pain) to bend over and pick it up and it is a dirty old Dunlop or something. There are a lot of golfers out there who should be contributing a better class ball to the mix.

A lot of golfers actually buy their golf balls froma shop Larry. Then they get to choose themselves what is written on the side.

If you find a decent ball in the rough they go just as well as the ones from a shop. I wonder when Tiger Woods last bought a golf ball?
