2012 Dick’s Sporting Goods Open Preview: Leaderboard

Senior … still battling for his first Champions Tour win

THE US CHAMPIONS TOUR is back in action this week with the 2012 Dick’s Sporting Goods Open taking place at the En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, New York.

Australia’s Peter Senior finished tied for sixth here last year and with three top-10s in his last four starts is getting back into the sort of form he exhibited last year when he contended regularly.

Hoping to prevent Senior’s breakthrough Champions Tour win is a strong field that includes recent tour winner Bernhard Langer, Tom Lehman, defending champion John Huston and the now multiple senior Major winner Roger Chapman of England.

Graham Marsh is the only other Aussie taking part.

Another top 10 coming for Peter Senior. This guy is playing so well on the Seniors tour i’m sure he could translate the form to the PGA tour. Week after week he is in contention.
