Peter Senior … finished T21 at the Senior British Open

At this event last year America’s Jay Haas sunk a birdie on the final hole for a one shot victory over Peter Senior, Kenny Perry and Tom Lehman.

Those players are again highly likely to feature prominently in the event this year along with the man many thought would go on to win the 2012 Senior British Open in Scotland last week, Bernhard Langer, John Cook and Mark Calcavecchia, who was very impressive in the British Open at Royal Lytham.

Senior British Open winner Fred Couples is not in the field and neither is another prominent name from the two UK major golf events, Tom Watson.

Australia’s Graeme Marsh is also among the 81 man field.
