Want to caddie for Rodger Davis?

Legendary Australian golfer Rodger Davis is looking for a caddie for the 2008 NSW Open in November.

Davis is leaving his caddie at home and auctioning this fantastic opportunity to “walk inside the ropes”  to the highest bidder, all to benefit the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

The winning bidder will caddie for Davis, 1989 NSW Open Champion and PGA Seniors Tour Order of Merit leader, from 13 to16 November for all four rounds of the NSW Open.

The tournament is being held at the Greg Norman designed Vintage course in the Hunter Valley.

The chance to caddie for a champion such as Davis can only be found by bidding on-line at www.nswopen.com. Bidding closes on 7 November at 5:00pm.

Hello Roger, Just wanted to say Happy Birthday. We have not met for some years now…… It would be good to see you back in Ireland again….. I am a professional Photographer working with the Irish Independent, and we used to meet regularly when you were playing in the Irish Opens. Best of luck and good health to you…… Donal Doherty
